Mr. Abdullah Basha

The founder

“Kahaf Tanning Company was founded in the 1950s by our visionary founder, Mr. Abdullah Basha, with a strong commitment to quality, craftsmanship

After decades of successful management, Mr. Abdullah Basha retired in 2015, passing the legacy and responsibility of the company to his three sons.

The three sons expanded the business by establishing two dedicated divisions: AnF Tanning Company and PLE. Mr. Nouman manages AnF Tanning Company, while Mr. Imran and Mr. Usman jointly manage PLE, continuing the tradition of innovation, quality, and customer commitment that has been the foundation of Kahaf Tanning Company for generations

How we craft leather

Our Manufacturing Process

Every hide undergoes a carefully controlled tanning and finishing process to ensure exceptional quality, durability, and consistency at every stage.

    Dyeing and colouring

    Premium dyes are carefully applied to the leather to achieve rich, uniform colours. This process enhances the leather's appearance

    Drying and conditioning

    The dyed leather is dried to restore its natural softness, flexibility, and strength while preparing it for the next stage of production.

  3. 03

    Staking and tanning process

    The leathers are staked using specialised staking machines to soften the fibres, enhance flexibility, and create a smooth, premium feel.

  4. 04

    Plating and measuring

    The leather is plated to achieve a smooth, refined surface and consistent finish. Each piece is then carefully measured for thickness, area in DCM

  5. 05

    Finishing & Packaging

    After final quality inspection, the leather is securely packed using protective materials to maintain its quality during storage and transportation, ensuring it reaches customers in perfect condition.
